In-class Task 1

Assalamualaikum and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!! WooooHoooo..May 2010 be greater and filled with fabulousity!!!!Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right and to rise above the little things.. My name is Nur Hidayah Binti Mukhtar and I am 24 years old. My dear friends call me Yaa. I am not single and not available (^,^). Me and my boy were planning to get married next year, Insyaallah. We were waiting for the green light from our parents since he is already working for about a year now eventhough he is one year younger than me. Well, this is too personel but it's fine..We should share all the happy things that keeps happening in our wonderful life and be grateful with it.

Regarding my computer skills, truthfully I would rate myself as not a novice yet not an expert. I am average in computer skills because I knew how to work on the very basic computer skills that we ought to know for example ms office, adobe, winamp,media player. Lately I have been using Internet download manager, winrar as well as hjsplit to download movies from the Internet and it is fun and easy. It is very useful for me to download anything that I want in the net to be use as the materials for my presentation in class.

I use internet mostly as the medium of communication with my friends across all countries in Malaysia. Lately, I searched for my friends during primary school in facebook and found most of them. Some of them lives around Shah Alam and K.L. It is amazing how technology can connect us no matter how far we are from each other. I have experince learning via the computer for example when me and my friends previously did study group via video conference using YM. I seriously think that it helps me a LOT. A part from that, I used to visit online English test especially English language games because I think they are very creative. They manage to create interesting and fun games online. Thus, I hope that learning CALL will enhance my skills to be like them and I can manage to integrate technology in the classroom. I want to be updated with all the new things regarding technology, so I hope that this subject can help me in it. Before this, I couldn't care less about technology but I realize that everything needs technology, even in finding a good job they will hire someone with a good skills and knowledge in technology and if we cannot meet the requirement they will indeed hire someone else.

My practicum was mind blowing!!!! It was so great due to the characteristic of my Mentor Puan Anita.She is so wonderful.She helped me a lot during the practicum and now we are still contacting each other. My practicum friends ( Fatin,Leen and Dayana, Zakiah and Roy) were also wonderful because we support each other.. Eventhough I had few hardship like teaching the Peralihan class but still it was a memorable moments..I ask for the blessing from ALLAH S.W.T so that my life will be at ease and Insyaallah everything will be just fine for this last semester. I recall that I used powerpoint during my practicum and it amazing because the students really enjoy it. I found out that their pay more attention to me and they manage to follow my orders. well,that's all from me....I am hoping to finish my study this semester with flying colors...
